The Sinn Fein leader has rejected suggestions that her party's public rallies are "an affront to democracy."
The first rally was held in Cork City last night, where almost 1,000 people attended, while a second is to take place in Dublin later.
They had been described by the Taoiseach as an example of a "campaign of intimidation and bullying."
