Sinn Fein has said sunbeds should be banned if recommended by the Chief Medical Officer.
It's after Professor Mary Horgan said earlier this week she was 'concerned' about them, but added she needed to gather evidence on their links to skin cancer.
There have been calls for sunbeds to be banned in recent weeks - including from the Tanaiste Micheal Martin.
Sinn Fein's health spokesperson David Cullinane says he would ban them if that was the CMO's advice:
"They are dangerous. There are issues and I have engaged with the HSE myself on this. And we have to see what effectively comes from, the CMO."
