An Post is paying tribute to winning rowers Paul O'Donovan and Fintan McCarthy by painting post boxes in the town gold.
The athletes are expected to arrive back later this week.
There's no homecoming planned as yet, but An Post spokesperson Angus Laverty describes what they've done to celebrate:
"These post boxes are a nest of post boxes outside the town's post office in Market Street. And it's the place where people are doing their daily post business, and where better to celebrate Paul and Fintan's fantastic efforts than by turning those post boxes gold."
