Cork City have been handed a home clash with Wexford in the FAI Cup Quarter finals.
The draw for the last 8 was made this afternoon, with City facing first division opposition for the third tie in a row.
Elsewhere Drogheda face Bohemians, Finn Harps will host St Patrick's Athletic and Galway United face Dundalk.
The Rebel Army booked their place in the quarter finals as they ran out 3-0 winners over Munster rivals Waterford at Turner's Cross, a game that was rescheduled from Friday. It didn't take long for Liam Buckley's side to get in front, with Ruairi Keating scoring within 60 seconds. The Mayo man turned and shot past Sam Sargeant in the Waterford goal, the keeper caught flat footed as the ball found its way to the net.
City got their second just over 15 minutes later, when centre half Josh Honohan headed home Ben Worman's corner. Jaze Kabia came close to scoring his first goal for the club not long after, his fine effort coming back off the crossbar much to the relief of Sargeant.
Cian Bargary added a third late on to add the gloss, as the Rebel Army march on in the Cup, looking to win the competition for the first time since 2017.
New signings Andrii Kravchuck and Malik Dijksteel were introduced in the second half, with Barry Coffey, Oran Crowe and John O'Donovan also sprung from the bench.
It was a much needed win for City who have endured a torrid time in the league of late - they'll now go into the draw for the last 8 this afternoon.
City's sporting director Liam Buckley told RedFM sport afterwards that he was delighted with the win, and the performance.
"It was overdue. I was delighted with the effort, the performance the lads put in. The goals were good, and overall I'm very pleased.
"I was delighted for Ruairi to get back into his stride. A great finish from his end of it. He got us going right from the get go. I'm delighted he did so well tonight. I think our play tonight was better, so hopefully we can improve on that over the next few weeks.
"We've got a couple of big games coming up. Performance wise, it's better when we pass the ball, and we link it in better. There was loads of improvement this evening, we just have to try and work to get it better for the rest of the season, and hopefully that will be enough to get us clear."
