FAI CEO Jonathan Hill says they’ll speak with Vera Pauw today after she was named in a report into widespread coaching misconduct in the United States.

The current Republic of Ireland women’s manager had claims of misconduct levelled at her stemming from her time at Houston Dash in 2018.

Earlier in the evening, the association said Pauw retains their full support.

Speaking after last night’s AGM, the CEO Hill said Pauw would be given ample opportunity to air her side of events.

"She's our employee, and we have a duty of care to her as well to hear her side of the story and we'll have that conversation.

"we'll decide how we we want to address the issues within the within the group if the group feels that it's important to discuss them, and it is clearly an important topic, regardless of when or where this was alleged to happen.

"That is the way Vera operates. You heard how Vera addressed the recent issue after the game in Glasgow and that is her modus operandi. She's open and she's honest and transparent and unsure she will be in relation to this issue and she will give her side of the story."
