The FAI have released a statement about Ireland’s Nations League fixture with Ukraine.
The game is due to take place in Lviv on Tuesday June 24th.
The FAI’s statement says the will continue to communicate on an ongoing basis with the Irish government, UEFA and the Ukraine Association of football, and say they ware awaiting the outcome of tomorrow’s UEFA Executive Committee meeting tomorrow, which has been called to discuss the current situation in Ukraine.
Ukraine are also due to play in Dublin on June 4th.
UEFA President Alexsander Ceferin has called the meeting for tomorrow, following the escalation of the situation in Russia and Ukraine.
The Champions League final - scheduled for late May - is due to take place in Saint Petersburg.
It's believed UEFA are preparing contingency plans to move the game from the Russian city.
