Former Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier has passed away at the age of 73.
The Frenchman also coached Lyon, Aston Villa and PSG in a distinguished career, along with taking charge of the French national team.
Houllier spent 6 years at Anfield, leading the Reds to a treble of the FA Cup, League Cup and UEFA Cup in 2001.
Reports in France say that he passed away just days after a heart operation.
