Boss Colin Healy was happy with the game yesterday, and told RedFM Sport his players acquitted themselves well.
"It was a good run out. We played a good side in St Pat's, it was good to get 90 minutes for the boys after a long time off, so it's good to see the boys back out there.
"You're playing against a very good team, the boys enjoyed it, even though we got beaten there was some good performances there.
"It's a good game for us, we knew they'd have a lot of possession of the ball. It was good for the new lads that we brought it for them to see the quality that Pat's and the Premier teams have.
"It was a good game for us and we got a lot of positives out of it.
"The lads need minutes. We've three more games, we need to get the minutes into the players - you can train all you want but you need to get minutes as well."
