Roy Keane could be set for a return to management.
Reports this morning say that the Mayfield man is Sunderland's first choice for the job.
The League One club parted ways with Lee Johnson on Sunday.
It's believed that the 50 year old Keane has been offered the job, and should he accept he could be in the dugout for their home match with Doncaster.
It would mark the former Manchester United captain's return to the stadium of light, where he was in charge between 2006 and 2008.
