Liverpool captain James Milner has hit out at the European Super League, saying that he doesn't like the fact that his club are involved in it.
The Reds are one of six Premier League sides involved in the breakaway competition.
Protests took place outside Elland Road last night, where Liverpool drew one all with Leeds United.
And Milner says the players found out about the project at the same time as everyone else.
"I think we're the same as everyone. There's a lot of questions. I can only say my personal opinion - I don't like it and I hope it doesn't happen.
"It's been difficult for us having a game, we're trying to prepare for the game, I can only imagine what's being said about it - and I probably agree with most of it.
"The players have got no say, so the welcome we got to the ground was probably a little bit unjust - we're here to play football and we've no control over it."
