An investigation is underway according to the Metropolitan Police following online "racist and offensive" abuse aimed at members of the England squad following last nights Euro 2020 final.
Italy defeated England 3-2 on penalties after the game finished 1 all after extra time.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has condemned racist abuse aimed at England players Bukayo Saka, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.
The trio missed penalties in the loss.
Johnson says the team should be "lauded as heroes" and those abusing players online should be "ashamed of themselves".
