West Ham manager David Moyes has defended his decision to start Kurt Zouma in last night's one nil win over Watford.
The defender was filmed kicking his cat and slapping it over the weakened.
Moyes has been heavily criticised for including the French international in his team - Moyes though insists his decision was purely a footballing one.
"I completely was really disappointed with what I saw and what, what I was told.
"But overall my job tonight was to try and find a way of getting a win for West Ham. Of course there's a there were people who were all disappointed with that and I understand that totally."
