Pressure is growing on Republic of Ireland boss Stephen Kenny after their second consecutive Nations League defeat.
The Boys in Green went down 1-0 to Ukraine at the Aviva Stadium last night, leaving them rooted to the bottom of the table.
Next up is the visit of Scotland on Saturday.
Kenny though reckons Ireland were unfortunate not to get something out of the game last night.
"We're disappointed to lose the game, they were two games that really hung in the balance - we certainly didn't deserve to lose to Armenia, that's for sure.
"I think tonight was probably a game that we started really well, first 15-20 minutes and we finished strong
"the game was very stretched, there wasn't many chances for either team, there was a lot of energy spent by both teams.
"We didn't consistently pass the ball well in the match, we had spells where we did well.
"The goal itself was a fluke, it's just a free kick that took a massive jump off the ground into the net.
"Ukraine have some very good players, they're a good team, I know they're missing a lot of players and they changed their team but they still have a lot of very good players.
"Shane Duffy has hit the bar, I know we didn't create many chances but neither did they - they were mainly restricted to long range efforts.
"It was a very even game overall I felt, and we came out the wrong side of it."
