Manchester United are still to officially unveil French centre back Raphael Varane after agreeing a deal with Real Madrid for €40 million in July.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed in his pre match press conference this Friday afternoon that the deal is almost complete, however the defender has not trained with the squad therefore will not feature in their Premier League opener at home to Leeds.
Man United finished second last season, 13 points off neighbours Man City, and will be hoping the signings of Jadon Sancho and Varane can close the gap.
Kick off in Old Trafford Saturday is at 12.30pm.
