Republic of Ireland women’s head coach Vera Pauw has been named in a report into misconduct in the NWSL in America.
Pauw was head coach at Houston Dash in 2018.
The club has apologised to players who were subject to misconduct from Pauw, and her successor, James Clarkson.
Among the allegations levelled at Pauw is that she wanted to “exert control over every aspect” of player lives, and that some developed eating disorders as a result of body-shaming from Pauw.
The Ireland manager refused to cooperate in an interview with investigators, but provided a written denial of suspected allegations.
The FAI are yet to comment.
