Specialist Gardaí will resume excavations today at the former family home of Kyran Durnin.
The 8 year old is missing presumed dead and a murder investigation was launched last week.
A house, garden and adjoining land in Dundalk is being searched and forensically examined. It was known to have been Kyran's family home until May of this year.
