With the pandemic reducing the social outlets and opportunities for people to meet, Ag Rásaíocht Le Chéile or Racing Together in English is offering the public the chance to get out and meet people again in a safe environment. The event in particular aims to offer older people or those whose social interactions have been significantly curtailed in the last year and a half an enjoyable night out.
Race cards will be sold separately for €2, with all the proceeds being donated to local charity.
The evening’s racing will be preceded by a minute’s silence in memory of all victims of Covid and our friends and family we have lost since the beginning the pandemic in March 2020.
