Cork's Jordan Blount will take over as Ireland vice-Captain for their upcoming games.
Ireland face Kosovo tomorrow in their FIBA World Cup 20207 European Pre-Qualifiers tomorrow, followed by a clash with Switzerland in Dublin on Sunday.
Energywise Ireland Neptune star Blount is joined in the squad by Adrian O'Sullivan of Irish Guide Dogs Ballincollig, while UCC demons pair David Lehane and James Beckom are in line for their international debuts.
Ireland are competing at FIBA Basketball World Cup level for the first time.
