The Portugal star's Old Trafford days were numbered after he strongly criticised the club in a controversial interview.
He told Piers Morgan he had "no respect" for manager Erik ten Hag, claimed there'd been "no progress" since his first spell there, and hit out at the attitude of some of his team-mates.
As speculation continued over his future, Ronaldo, who's currently on international duty at the World Cup, said yesterday he was "bulletproof".
He scored 145 goals for United in 346 appearances.
The club have wished him and his family well for the future.
