Cork's Phil Healy just missed out on a place in the 400m semi finals.
The Ballineen Bullet narrowly ran a time of 51.98, missing out on a place by just .07 of a second.
Healy says she's a little disappointed, but she left it all out there.
"Today was about going out there. We were unsure right up to warm up whether we would run it or not. But I was like 'I'm digging deep and going out there'. I didn't want to be sitting in the stands knowing what could have been.
"I went out there and gave it my all, and it's my second fastest outdoor time ever.
"I know that if I was fresh, this is my fourth race, it would certainly have been a PB.
"These are the 'what ifs', the 'what ifs' I can't do.
"To fall short again is disappointing, but it definitely gave me comfort knowing what I did on top of yesterday, because that's where I was disappointed."
