The principal of St Killian's in Mayfield says she remains hopeful that the school will qualify for a pilot programme which will see therapists returned to the school.
The school was excluded from the initial pilot programme however 10 more schools are to be announced for the programme at the end of October.
The Minister of State with special responsibility for Disability Anne Rabbitte says if St Killian's qualifies for the pilot she will support the allocation of funding for the use of private therapists at the school.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show the principal at St Killian's Sue Linehan says she remains committed to highlighting the issue.
"We will just have to wait and see what happens. And you know, until we know something I suppose it's going to happen or isn't, it's very hard for us to predict what we should do next. you know, in that sense, but we'll stay with the single issue that until we get therapies in St. Killian's where they are essentially needed, the crisis continues.
