An overnight status yellow rain warning has been issued for Cork and Kerry
The warning is valid from 3am to 9am Thursday morning.
Met Éireann says there will be heavy rainfall, especially in western parts of the counties.
Motorists are advised that spot flooding, difficult travelling condition and poor visibility are a possibility.
