A Status Yellow warning for rain has been issued for Cork.
It comes into effect at 3 o'clock today and will run until lunchtime tomorrow
Met Eireann says it could lead to localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditons
Forecaster Michelle Dillon told RedFM News that they don't expect any river flooding but they are warning of spot flooding
"We can expect some localised flooding, we don't expect the rivers to burst their banks. In general, maybe some smaller river catchments with the intensity of the rainfall may come out of bank, but in general, it's more a case of localised flooding"
