The acts to perform at the Super Bowl have been revealed.
Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige and Kendrick Lamar will join forces to entertain audiences at the event happening in February 2022 at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The upcoming half-time show is a collaboration between the NFL, Pepsi and Jay Z's entertainment company Roc Nation. Jay Z, real name Shawn Carter, said this hip-hop heavyweight performance is "history in the making" and to expect a "performance of a lifetime".
The Super Bowl half time show at Inglewood will be a home town show for Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg and former NWA member Dr. Dre who said, "The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career.
"I’m grateful to Jay-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment."
The hip hop collaboration is a follow on from last year's performance from The Weeknd in Tampa Florida.
Super Bowl LVI happens on the 13th of February 2022.
