The Tánaiste says Scoil an Athar Tadhg in Carraig na bhFear is a prime example of how the Government plans to modernise other schools across the country.
Micheál Martin officially opened the new primary school in North Cork today.
Speaking to RedFM News, Tanaiste Micheál Martin says:
"I'm delighted to be here in Scoil an Athar Tadhg to officially open this wonderful new modern building for a school that's located in an historic area and named after an historic priest who made such a significant contribution to the Irish language and to Irish culture in this part of the world. But I think this building reflects the modernization of our school system in terms of the high quality facilities and as a result of Government investment and continuing this modernisation program across many, many schools and communities across the country."
