The Tánaiste says Uisce Éireann needs to get the ongoing problem of the city's discoloured water sorted.
The water provider has received thousands of complaints over the last 18 months from customers with brown dirty water coming from their taps and ruining household appliances.
Uisce Éireann says its continuing to tackle the issue with its dedicated taskforce while replacing the watermains but Tánaiste Michéal Martin says a clearer timeline is needed.
Speaking to RedFM News, Sonya Cashman says homeowners with brown tap water are spending up to 40 euro a week on bottled water:
"We can't trust the Government to provide us with clean running water, but yes, with the cost living crises and they want us to shell out more money on water, it's farcical."
