A teenager is in a critical condition this morning after a crash in County Waterford.
She was on her bike when it happened in Dungarvan yesterday.
The teenage girl was cycling on Clonea Road in Dungarvan when she was hit by a car at around 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
She has been taken to Cork University Hospital by helicopter where she remains in a critical condition.
A woman in her late 30s driving the car was treated at the scene for shock.
The road was closed for a technical examination but has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who were in the Clonea Road area yesterday afternoon and who may have footage to make it available to them.
