A post mortem is due to be carried out on the body of a man which was discovered in East Cork earlier
Gardaí say they are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery on Ashe Street in Youghal at approximately 9am this morning
The man's body has been removed from the scene and taken to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place at a later date
The results of the post mortem will determine the course of the investigation.
The Coroner has been notified.
