Over 2,100 homes and businesses may be without water in the city later tonight due to a planned outage. Uisce Éireann and Cork City Council are replacing over 1.1 kilometres of old watermains on the northside of the city.

Cork airport's shop has undergone a rebrand. "The Loop" logo, that has been in use since 2009, has been removed. Instead the retail area will be called Cork Airport Duty Free.
