Gardaí are investigating a suspected arson attack at the former Crown Paints factory in North Dublin. The property in Coolock which is earmarked to house asylum seekers, was at the centre of violent protests earlier this week.

A father and son have been found guilty of the murder of their cousin at a funeral in Tralee in 2022.43 year old Thomas Dooley Senior and 21 year old Thomas Dooley Junior of Carrigrohane Road Halting Site were found guilty of murdering Tom Dooley on the 5th of October 2022 at New Rath Cemetery in Rathhass. The jury has also found a teenager guilty of murder who cannot be named because of his age.
