The outcome of a ballot on a pay recommendation for pilots at Aer Lingus will be revealed this morning. 2 weeks of industrial action by pilots led to the cancellation of 610 flights. There was little disruption at Cork Airport but the London Heathrow service was heavily affected.

The Taoiseach has expressed his sadness following the death of a young Irish girl in Majorca this week. 11 year old Clodagh Phelan from County Wicklow fell from a hotel balcony in the town of Alcudia in the north-east of the Spanish island, early yesterday morning.

Gardaí are looking for the publics help in finding a 70 year old woman missing from Millstreet. Nuala Molloy was last seen on Sunday the 14th of July.

GAA supporters came out in their droves to welcome home the Cork hurlers last night. Thousands of fans gathered at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh after the rebels were defeated by Clare in the All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final on Sunday. The Rebels Return event which was hosted by RedFM's KC also had performances from The Frank and Walters, J90, John Spillane and Myles Gaffney.
