- A man is due in court today, charged in connection with the 157 million euro drugs seizure off the coast of Cork. The discovery was made in a joint taskforce operation at sea on the MV Matthew last Tuesday.
- The trial of a 32 year old man accused of murdering Ashling Murphy is due to get underway later this morning. Jozef Puska, of Lynally Grove in Tullamore, Co Offaly, is due to stand trial before the Central Criminal Court.
- The Covid 19 Autumn Winter booster vaccine and flu jab are starting to be rolled out from today. The HSE is recommending the covid booster dose for people aged 50 and over and the flu vaccine for those aged 65 and over.
- It's thought Donald Trump will appear in person at the start of his trial on fraud charges today. Mr Trump's described the judge overseeing the case as "unfair, unhinged and vicious".
