- Neighbours and friends will be able to say their last goodbyes to Tina Satchwell as her funeral cortège is set to pass her former home in Fermoy at lunchtime today. In a funeral notice the Dingivan family said that it was with "great sadness" that they announced the death of their "beloved Tina"
- Midleton Chamber of Commerce say traders in the town who were hit by flash flooding last week are very resilient. The town's Main Street was left under 3 feet of water last Wednesday after flash floods hit.
- The Tánaiste along with the Enterprise Minister and Minister for Agriculture will all be in Mitchelstown later this morning for the official opening of Kerrygold Park Ornua, the makers of Kerrygold, will unveil the new 40 million euro development at Kerrygold Park, after 10am.
- A Status Yellow fog warning is place for Cork. It's due to remain in place until 11 o'clock this morning.
