A cyclist has died in a road crash in Co Cork.
The man in his 40s was hit by a car at Meadstown in Kildorrery at around 6:20 yesterday evening.
The scene remains closed this morning to allow for a technical examination, and Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

An investigation's expected to get underway today after a funfair ride collapsed in County Antrim.
Four children were taken to hospital after it happened at Planet Fun at Carrickfergus Harbour, where a major incident was declared last night.
Three of the children are being treated at Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children and one child has been taken to Antrim Area Hospital.
It's believed a number of other children who didn't need to be brought to hospital suffered injuries to their legs.

The UN's declared today World Drowning Prevention Day.
235-thousand people die from drowning every year, with an average of 115 in Ireland.
It comes as there has been six drownings this week across the country.

The Health Minister is expected to sign off new guidelines for indoor dining today, ahead of reopening tomorrow.
Indoor service in pubs and restaurants will be allowed for people who are fully vaccinated, or recovered from Covid-19.
Customers will have to show proof of immunity and ID.
