Thousands of people have been forced to leave their homes in Greece, after strong winds caused wildfires to burn out of control.
A protracted heatwave has turned forests into tinderboxes, with flames threatening populated areas - including the Greek capital, Athens.
Firefighters say they're battling around 50 active fires and one person has died.
Georgia Trismpioti from the Red Cross says many others have been injured:
"The blaze in northwest Athens is completely out of control. Of course, we had a lot of injured people, a lot of firefighters that had to be hospitalised because of burning or because of respiratory problems."
