Neighbours and friends have paid their last respects to Tina Satchwell who made her final journey this afternoon.
The 45 year old woman had been missing for 6 years before her remains were found in Youghal almost a fortnight ago.
People stood in silence on St. Bernard's Place in Fermoy this afternoon as Tina’s funeral cortége drove past her former home.
Neighbours and friends stood outside their homes next to where Tina lived for many years as the hearse drove by to pay their respects.
Tina was reported as a missing person in 2017 and her body was found at her home in Grattan Street in Youghal after Gardai carried out a search two weeks ago when the case was upgraded to a murder investigation.
Her husband Richard Satchwell has been charged with her murder.
Tina’s remains were released to her family and her funeral is taking place today.
Tina’s family say the funeral will take place privately and quietly, as she lived.
