More leisure and sun holiday destinations are coming on stream for passengers using Cork Airport
It comes as non-essential international travel has re-opened today and staff are looking forward to welcoming passengers back
15 routes are operating out of Cork with reduced capacity however management say they are working hard to build on these numbers as the aviation industry recoevers from the impact of Covid-19.

International travel is allowed from today for the first time in 16 months, as Ireland rolls-out the EU Digital Covid Certificate.
Fully vaccinated people, those recently recovered from Covid-19 or can present a negative test are allowed travel around the European Union.
Over 22 thousand people are expected to pass through Dublin Airport today, as Aer Lingus and Ryanair have both ramped up their schedules.

The HSE vaccine portal officially opens to 18 to 24 year olds from today.
It will give the younger age group an opportunity to opt in for the AstraZeneca jab.
Those signing up will need their PPS number, their eircode, a mobile number and an email address.
People aged 18-30 can already receive a Janssen vaccine from a pharmacy but supplies are limited.

Very few visiting restrictions will apply to nursing homes from today.
It means residents in homes where most people have vaccine protection, can have as many visits as they want, but with just 2 people at any one time.
