Cork's John Murphy had a week to remember at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
The Kinsale man posted rounds of 69, 69, 67, 71 to finish on 12 under par, a birdie on the final hole securing a top ten finish.
Murphy finished six shots behind winner Danny Willet, while Shane Lowry finished on 15 under.
The 23 year old Murphy, who played the Championships thanks to an invite from his sponsor, made the most of his opportunity and takes home €81,543 for his week's work in Scotland.
Next up for Murphy is this week's Spanish Open in Madrid.
