Tributes are being paid to two young agriculture students, killed in a horror crash in County Limerick on Tuesday night.
20-year-old Darragh Dullea from Clonakilty and Cillian Kirwan from County Killkenny, aged 19, were both passengers in a car that hit a wall on the N69 near Askeaton.
Two other young men, including the driver and a third passenger, were injured.
All four were part of the same agricultural course, and had been studying and living locally.
Adam Teskey a local Fine Gael councillor, has offered his sympathies to the men’s families, adding the local community has been left “absolutely stunned”
"My sincere expressions of sympathy to the families. This has shocked, numbed and stunned my area that I represent. But not only are the consequences of this locally it's fetching as far as the counties of Cork, and Killkenny and as I say, to the bereaved families, my thoughts are with you at this time."
