Ian Bailey will be appearing on Virgin Media One next week as he is quizzed about the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier on The Big Interview.
Bailey is the main suspect in the murder of French filmmaker Sophie Toscan du Plantier who was discovered dead in the laneway to her house in West Cork in December 1996.
The murder of Sophie has once again gained major attention over the past few months with two documentaries on Sky Crime and Netflix detailing her horrific murder and the Garda investigation surrounding her death.
News anchor Colette Fitzpatrick will sit down with Mr. Bailey for The Big Interview that will air on Monday evening at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
This new interview comes after Sophie's son Pierre Louis Baudey-Vignaud appeared on The Late Late Show last week where he reminisced on happy times with his mother and how her death impacted his life. Pierre Louis also made an appeal to the public to share any information they may know and stated "you have a murderer living in Ireland."
During Bailey's interview he admits he hasn't watched the Netflix documentary but has viewed two episodes of the Jim Sheridan programme aired on Sky Crime.
