Neil spoke to Vera Twomey about RTE cutting part of her People Of The Year awards speech from the highlights as she hit out at Taoiseach Leo Varadkar. She says it's sad that part of her speech was cut out. She says it's not acceptable for the Taoiseach to ask why the Government needs to legislate for medicinal cannabis.

Neil spoke to Martin Cullinane from Dublin Pike was near-by when he heard the screams of two brothers coming from the water in Passage West on Saturday afternoon. Martin ran from his girlfriend's nearby apartment and dived into the water. Martin pulled the first boy from the river and got him back to the pier. When he got to the second boy he was lifeless. He got him to the pier where another man pulled them both out on the pier.
