Dancing with the Stars winner Jake Carter called in to studio to speak to Neil following his show at Cork Opera House last night. Neil is speaking to Claire Culwell. She survived an abortion that ended the life of her twin. When her biological mother became pregnant as a teenager, her mother took her to an abortion clinic where she had a surgical abortion. A few weeks later, she realised she was still pregnant and her mother took her to an out-of-state late term abortion facility where she was told that the initial abortion had ended the life of one twin but that one twin had survived. Claire was born a few weeks later and was subsequently adopted. We also speak about reports that teenagers are buying razors in a nearby shop in Ballincollig to shave a line in their eyebrows but discarding the used razors in the playground. They were confronted by a member of the public to clean up the mess which they did but would have left it otherwise. Neil is speaking to John Leahy who is less than impressed after his recent trip to Dingle. He claimed that none of the staff at the accommodation availed of by him and his wife could speak even basic Irish. We ask is the Irish language dead?
