550 homes and apartments were completed in the city and county in the third quarter of this year.
The figures from the CSO show 396 homes were completed in Cork county during July, August and September while there were 154 completions in the city.
16 apartments were built in the city and just one in the county.
Nationally, the number of new-builds in the third quarter of this year fell by 7.7%
