On Friday Neil spoke to Tom who found a wedding ring in Aldi in Togher back in June. Nora heard it and got in touch because it was her ring – she was delighted to get it back! Neil talks to Ronan who is a 25 year old professional who has battled mental health issues for the last 5 years. He heard Neil talking to Helen O’Dricoll last week and felt moved to call the programme. He echoes her opinion that the family should be informed of the illness and treatment of a child, even when they are over 18. Neil talks to Orlaith, Mary and Sarah who believe Little Nellie Of Holy God should be exhumed from her grave in Sunday’s Well and reinterred in a place more accessible. Neil talks to English Market trader Michael O’Herlihy from The Farmers Shop who feels the Cork Business Association and the Cork Chamber are doing nothing for businesses in Cork and are just acting on behalf of the council. Neil also talks to people about their “memories of summer” which includes Regina who was holidaying in Lanzarote this year. She was struck down with tonsillitis when she arrived and then broke her foot so was in a cast in 32 degree heat!
