A ban on single use coffee cups in Killarney is being celebrated as a success.
According to the Irish Independent, business waste in the town is down 30 per cent since the launch of the initiative four months ago.
If you want a coffee in Killarney you'll have to pay a 2 euro deposit for a reusable cup, that's reimbursed upon its return.
While some cafes have admitted it's resulted in a small decline in sales, owner's say it's "good for our future".
