Boris Johnson has resigned as the leader of the British Conservative Party.
He will remain on as British Prime Minister until a replacement is elected.
Boris Johnson decided to quit after almost 60 of his MPs resigned.
Speaking outside 10 Downing Street, he said no one is indispensable:
"As we've seen a Westminster, the herd instinct is powerful when the herd moves, it moves. My friends in politics, no one is remotely indispensable and our brilliant and Darwinian system will produce another leader, equally committed to taking this country forward through tough times."
