Restaurant and pub groups will call for further easing of restrictions on indoor dining when they meet
government officials today.
They've been allowed serve inside their businesses since Monday of last week.
But that's limited to fully vaccinated adults, those who've recovered from Covid, and their children.
Padraig Cribben, from the Vintners Federation of Ireland, says that restriction should end next month - along with other measures.
"We want to see the use of the bar counter back in place, in a safe manner.
"We want to see a relaxation of table service and social distancing, so that we can begin to have a full roadmap to get back to normality in hopefully the weeks rather than months ahead."
