The partner of a young man who died suddenly in Cobh at the start of this month is calling for tougher action to be taken to clamp down on anti social behaviour in the area
Father of two Sean Feeney was just 29 years old when he died of a suspected heart attack as he was chasing away a group of youths who had been throwing stones at the house
On foot of his death the community came together to raise funds for Sean’s family to support them
Sean's partner Sam Byrne is organising a vigil on Sunday evening at Cluain Ard, where he suddenly died, and she's invited politicians and members of the public to the event
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Sam says it's time action was taken on the matter
"This town is fantastic and the support that I have been given afterwards has been unbelievable. I mean, people are just so kind. However people are angry, people are fed up. What me and my family would like to happen next is more Garda resources to be made available for the town. They're planning on building more houses around the area and there's no green spaces anymore. There's nothing to spread people around from each other"
