David Trimble, the former first Minister of Northern Ireland, has been laid to rest in Lisburn.
His funeral was attended by President Michael D Higgins, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Taoiseach Micheál Martin and politicians from North and South.
Reverend Fiona Forbes spoke about how the noble-peace prize winner was a man of many achievements:
"An academic, a party leader, a peacemaker, a Nobel laureate, the first to serve in the role of First Minister in the new Northern Ireland Executive established as part of the Good Friday Agreement".
