Entertainment venues are working today to mitigate the effects of the latest round of restrictions on the sector.

Strict new limits on the hospitality sector are set to come in on Tuesday which will see the closure of Nightclubs until January.

Indoor events such as concerts must operate at a maximum of 50per cent capacity, a move which has been criticised by the Music and Entertainment Association.

Speaking to RedFM News, the Artistic Director of the Everyman, Sophie Motley reassured those with tickets that they expect to be able to accommodate everyone:

"We have the brilliant 'Everyman Sunday Songbook' on in December, so that will also be affected by the capacity restrictions. We also have 'John Spillane's Christmas Concert' which will be affected as well. So we will absolutely ensure that everybody gets to see both of those performances. We only opened bookings quite recently so essentially we will be able to move everybody into another performance. We may have to put on a couple of extra performances but we don't think it will be too many."
